4 Elements Plumbing is a Sydney-based plumbing company, servicing both residential and commercial sectors. The 4 Elements: water, fire, earth, and wind; tie into the range of services the company offers: Plumbing, gas heating, underground piping, and air conditioning respectively.
The custom-built identity
The construction of the number 4 was influenced by an adjustable spanner, and the rest of the wordmark was built to match. The wordmark is accompanied by an icon that incorporates the four elements, water, fire, earth and air into a ying-yang style medallion. The vibrant colour palette ties into the elements and gives the identity a bold and fun look.
The consistency of their identity from the business cards and website through to the ute and work shirts demonstrates the companies professionalism and builds trust amongst their customers. The overall design has sparked a number of positive comments from their clientele, who rated it “the best identity they had seen for a plumber.”
