Supporting housing outcomes for First Nations communities
Aboriginal Torres Strait Islander Housing Queensland (Housing Queensland) is the peak body representing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community housing providers across Queensland. The organisation advocates for improved housing outcomes for First Nations peoples while supporting its members through policy development, sector leadership, and collaboration with government and community organisations. Through its work, Housing Queensland plays an important role in strengthening the community housing sector and promoting safe, culturally appropriate housing solutions.
Communicating strategy and sector leadership
I have worked with Housing Queensland across a range of publications and communication materials, designing documents that present complex information in a clear and professional way. These projects have included corporate profiles, strategic plans, policy reports, and annual reports, each requiring careful attention to structure, readability, and alignment with the organisation’s visual identity.
In addition to these publications, I also developed creative materials for the Housing First Nations conference. The work ensured the event had a cohesive and professional visual presence while supporting the organisation’s broader communication goals across print and digital platforms.
